About this Course

Come join us as we present our inaugural adult lecture series. This first presentation will explore the history of capital punishment and its role in shaping Canada. Did you know that one town in British Columbia held the title “Hanging Capital of Canada”? Hear about the science of hanging and the executioners that travelled across Canada to do their job. We will also talk about some of the people who met their end. Due to the content of this talk and the imagery presented, parental discretion is advised for youth under 18 years.
